Is it possible to transfer to ITPU from other university?
Following documents should be attached to your letter:
Transcript of records, including a list of the courses studied, grades, and each course’s workload (credits or hours);
Grading scale at your university (if it’s not mentioned in the transcript);
Syllabi of the IT and Math courses.
Only the applications containing all the documents mentioned above will be considered.
Application periods:
January – to start studies since the second semester (first year);
summer – to start studies since the third semester (second year).
The ITPU Attestation Committee is responsible for making the decisions on transfer.
Key factor of such decisions is a degree of difference between the curricula of ITPU and the applicant’s current university. At least a half of the courses should match.
For transfer in summer, another factor is a presence of successfully completed IT project in the applicant’s transcript.
However, if your transcript doesn’t fit these criteria, your option is admission to ITPU. The grades from your transcript, in that case, can be transferred after admission by the decision of the Attestation Committee. You will study only the courses which are new for you and pay for them only.
What faculties does ITPU have?
What specialization can student master additionally?
1. Automated testing. Test automation engineer writes programs that imitate user actions and test a product or part of it. His task is to create and set up the testing, which will detect and eliminate developer's errors.
2. Back-end Development. Back-end Developer creates components and functions that are available to the user of an application or site through the interface. His task is to ensure that the software works correctly so that the server provides the user with what he requests.
3. Front-end Development. Front-end Developer configures the logic and interfaces for both the user and the server side. His task is to translate the finished design layout into code so that everything works correctly.
Selection of the program is based on the student's performance in specific disciplines.

Is the ITPU degree recognized abroad?
Uzbekistan is contracting state of the Apostille Convention, drafted by the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH). So, you can obtain apostille on the ITPU diploma.
The apostille issued by Uzbekistan certifies the document without further certification from other contracting states. Here you can find the list of such states: https://www.hcch.net/en/states/hcch-members
It should be mentioned that the Convention is not in force between Uzbekistan and the following contracting states: Austria, Belgium, Germany, and Greece. However, the work on increasing international recognition and value of its diploma is continuing.
At the same time, we would like to note that the education by ITPU as a part of the EPAM School of Digital Engineering (ESDE) is highly valued by the international IT community due to a longstanding reputation of EPAM and its specific practice-oriented approach to education. It means that the ITPU diploma is in demand by IT employers all over the world, regardless of status of recognition by the governments and universities.
