AI Talks in Tashkent: An Open Dialogue on Artificial Intelligence

On June 7, 2025, the Congress Hall of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan will host AI Talks — the first open event of its kind dedicated to key issues surrounding artificial intelligence.
The event is organized by IT Park University, American University of Technology, EPAM, and IT Park Uzbekistan. This is not a lecture, but an open discussion where everyone can participate.
Artificial Intelligence: Opportunity or Challenge?

AI is already reshaping the way we live: transforming the job market, education systems, and everyday processes. Today, it’s not enough to simply follow tech trends — it’s crucial to understand their impact on society, the economy, and each of us individually.

At AI Talks, we invite you to look at AI not through fear or hype, but through a direct conversation with those who work with these technologies every day.
Topics for discussion:

  • What is artificial intelligence really?
  • How does AI affect the job market and education system?
  • What risks does rapid AI development pose to society?
  • What role do AI agents play, and should we be afraid of them?
Speakers:

  • Saeid Irandoost, Ph.D. — Rector, American University of Technology
  • Bokhodir Ayupov — Rector, IT Park University
  • Renat Akhtyamov — Head of EPAM Uzbekistan
  • Rajan Tripathi, Ph.D. — Assistant Professor, AUT School of Digital Technologies
"AI Talks is not a lecture. It’s debate, engagement, and real discussion. We want to show how AI is already working and what questions it raises for society," says Bokhodir Ayupov, CEO of IT Park University and one of the initiators of the event.
